The Las Vegas Velodrome was a two person group project designed and built in Structures class. This design is a covered pavilion that will enclose the structure and spectator seating. Bay spacing was based on the spanning distance of the secondary members. An approximate depth of the spanning members were based on typical span/depth ratios. The tension members were sized based of the maximum force they will see. The allowable tension stress is 22,000 psi with a live load of 20 psf and a dead load of 40 psf.
